Director General Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), General Syed Shakeel Hussain called on Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Muhammad Aslam Tareen here on Monday. During the meeting, various matters of professional interest came under discussion.
The CCPO informed DG ANF that strict crackdown would continue against drug pushers and Lahore Police would leave no stone unturned for eradication of this social menace. He said that six divisional teams, under the leadership of divisional SPs, SDPOs and SHOs have been constituted for elimination and eradication of drug trade in the city, while frequent raids would be continuously conducted against those found involved in such heinous crimes.
Syed Shakeel Hussain appreciated the efforts of CCPO Lahore and hoped that Lahore police and ANF would continue to work in collaboration to make Lahore a drug free city.
Later, the CCPO presented a commemorative shield and Qur'an to DG ANF. Deputy Director, ANF Altaf Qamar, Brigadier Shahid Afzal, SSP Discipline & Inspection Sharaq Kamal and SSP Admin, Tariq Abbas Qureshi were also present on the occasion.
