District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Karachi, Muhammad Hussain Syed, has directed to initiate an operation against encroachments in Landhi Cattle Colony. During a visit to the Bakra-piri and other parts of Cattle Colony where he met with the cattle owners he said that their co-operation could solve the problems of the cattle colony.
A statement of the City Government said on Sunday that the cattle owners should pay taxes and fee for lease of land so that the revenue of the City Government could increase. This amount would then be spent on the development of the Cattle Colony.
EDO Municipal Services Masood Alam, EDO E&IP Dr Saif-ur-Rehman, Executive Director Rasheed Jamal, Director Media Management Bashir Sadduzai and other officers accompanied DCO Karachi on this visit.
