'Effective security measures to be made on Chehlum'

Balochistan Police Chief Malik Muhammad Iqbal has directed for ensuring effective security measures on eve of Chehlum of Martyrs of Karbala. He was addressing Command Conference held at Central Police Office to review law and order situation Saturday.
Commandant Balochistan Constabulary, DIG Crimes and Highways, Commandant Police Training College, Regional Police officers of Sibi, Zhob, Gwadar, Khuzdar, Noshki and Loralai, DIGs Operation, headquarters, Investigation, CIA, SSP Traffic, SSP ATF, AIGs Establishment, Finance were also present.
Police Chief said that for the arrest of culprits involved in kidnapping for ransom anti abduction for ransom cell should be activated and those supporting and harbouring such criminals would also be considered equal criminal. He asked for speeding up actions for arresting required accused according to Black Book and Red Book. He said security along highways should be ensured and action should be taken against culprits without considering limits so that they do not get any shelter.
All Regional Officers and DPOs should have a co-ordinated system for exchange of information so that no accused moves to any other area. He asked all the district officers to remain alert against cases of abduction for ransom. He encouraged police officers for arresting accused involved in abduction for ransom and asked other officers to follow their example.
