The Director General Relief, Khalid Sher Dil Friday said that Pakistan government is striving hard and employing all available sources for early rehabilitation of flood affectees. While distributing cheques worth Rs 1,550,000 among the members of CCB at DCO office, he directed CCB members to launch different projects for flood victims.
He further directed them to install water filtration plants, rural sewerage schemes and set up vocational training centres for women in flood hit areas. He disclosed that Punjab government would established a disaster commission. District Coordination Officer Tahir Khursheed was also present.
