The dollar fell 1 percent to a session low against the Swiss franc on Friday amid broad dollar weakness on expectations of a strengthened eurozone rescue fund and a strong German Ifo business confidence report. The dollar was last at 0.9580 Swiss francs on electronic trading platform EBS after falling to a low of 0.9574 francs.
The euro earlier rallied to a two-month high against the dollar with the peak of $1.3598 on EBS in midday New York trade with traders saying an options barrier existed at $1.3600.
