Notification to upgrade Tor Ghar as district after President's return: Hoti
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haidar Khan Hoti said that upgradation of Kala Dhaka as Tor Ghar district would be notified once President Asif Ali Zardari returned from foreign visit. Presiding over a meeting regarding the upgradation of Tor Ghar as district in Hazara division here at Chief Ministers Secretariat on Monday, he said all basic needs of life including security would be provided to people of Tor Ghar after the notification.
The meeting reviewed various ongoing development projects being undertaken by ERRA in detail while hindrances in this connection were analysed and important decisions were taken. The meeting was attended by Provincial Informational Minister Mian Iftekhar Hussein, Provincial Ministers Ahmad Hussein Shah and Qazi Asad, MPA Habib-ur- Rahaman Tanoli, Chief Secretary, ACS, commissioner Hazara and other concerned authorities.
The chief minister said one Tor Ghar was made as district all basic needs of life would be available to people at their doorstep and they would feel a pleasant change. He said headquarter of the new district would be decided in view of ground realities and after consultation.
The meeting was informed that Tehsil Headquarter Complex in Balakot will be established in Hasa and land for this purpose would be provided by the provincial government. Resources for spotting, attaining and buying land for express way were also reviewed during the meeting. The chief minister also constituted a committee under Senior Member Board of Revenue for reviewing matter pertaining to border dispute between Kohistan and Chillas.
Meanwhile, chairing another high level meeting of national construction departments, the chief minister stressed greater attention to qualitative and in-time completion of developmental schemes. He said undue delay in developmental schemes was not in interests of the people and the government. The meeting was attended by ACS and administrative secretaries of finance, irrigation, works and services, public health engineering, local government and law and Special Secretary to Chief Minister Syed Waqar-ul-Hasan.
