The Balochistan High Court (BHC) Monday granted bail to Jamhoori Watan Party Provincial President, Shahzain Bugti and his 26 accomplices. A single bench of the Balochistan High Court comprising Justice Noor Muhammad Miskanzai had reserved it judgement on Thursday on the bail plea of Bugti.
The court on Monday, while giving its verdict approved bail plea of the JWP leader and his 26 accomplices against surety bond of Rs 500, 000 each. Talking to media soon after the announcement, Bugti's Counsel W N Kohli said that JWP would be released by tomorrow after the security bonds are finalised. JWP leader will announce his future strategy soon, he added. Shahzain Bugti, along with his 26 security guards, was arrested by the Frontier Corps last month on the charges of allegedly possessing huge quantity of weapons.
