Capital police nab four, recover valuables

Islamabad police have arrested four outlaws from various areas and recovered illegal weapons, snatched mobile phones and looted items worth rupees 100,000 from their possession, said a spokesman of the police, here on Saturday. He said that Margalla Police nabbed an accused Farukh and during his body search recovered two stolen mobile phones.
Tarnol Police, during a routine patrolling, recovered one 12-bore gun from an accused Farhan. Bhara Kahu Police during patrolling stopped Ummat Khan and on his search, recovered one 30-bore pistol. Shalimar Police chased a person Asif Shehzad involved in theft and recovered stolen items worth rupees100,000 from his possession.
The spokesman said that separate cases have been registered against the accused in the respective police stations and further investigation is underway. He added that SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has directed to maintain strict vigilance against anti-social elements.
