BoI to start online work visa facility for investors

In a bid to reduce bureaucratic hurdles for investors, the Board of Investment (BoI) is going to start online work visa facility for investors and set up facilitation counters at airports. This was stated by Saleem H Mandviwala, minister of state and chairman BoI at an inaugural ceremony of the BoI's new office held at STSMF building, here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mandviwala said the dream of Benazir Bhutto for the BoI has come true for which efforts were made for 30 years. He said the BoI would now start online work visa facility and set up investors' facilitation counters at airports to provide maximum relief to investors.
He said this relocation was made to entertain the top dignitaries from all around the world in a better manner. He said the BoI had been assisting investors and would continue doing so with greater efficiency and effectiveness in coming years. Later Mandviwala inaugurated the new office in presence of BoI secretary Anisul Hassnain, DG Nasreen Ali, guests from consulates, public and private organisations, business association and chambers.
