Free stalls at Livestock exposition

Published Updated

The exhibitors will get free-of-cost stalls in the first ever Sindh Livestock, Dairy, Fisheries and Poultry Expo to be held at Karachi Expo Centre from February 7. This was stated by Advisor to CM on Investment Zubair Motiwala while presiding over a meeting at Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) here on Wednesday.
He said exhibitors would have the opportunity to hold meetings with foreign buyers, diplomats, industrialists and leading international companies during the Expo. It may be noted that more than 100 companies will display their products while more than 300 trade delegates will visit the show where concerned provincial departments, companies and banks will provide details on incentives and facilities to potential investors.
SBI in collaboration with Livestock and Fisheries Department had already floated a tender inviting trade associations, farm developers, scientific instrument manufacturers, veterinary service providers, feed producers, meat packing companies, importers and exporters, certificate issuers, abattoir, embryo transfer technology companies and concerned government departments in this regard. The meeting was told that this exhibition will be a milestone for the livestock, dairy, fisheries and poultry of Sindh and serve as a forum to attract investment in these sectors.
