Three persons including two brothers were killed while 15 others sustained injuries in a pile-up due to poor visibility in wee hours of Monday some 25 kms from here. According to police, due to thick fog a Multan bound coach rammed into a trailer lying overturned on the road. A speeding loader van (LAV-8892) coming from Hafizabad also collided with the coach from rear side.
In the meantime, a truck also smashed into the van. As a result, three persons including two brothers Abid and Khalid, son of Muhammad Shabir, and Aslam s/o Dost Muhammad, all residents of Hafizabad were killed on the spot. Fifteen others sustained injuries. They were rushed to THQ hospital and two of them were referred to Allied Hospital, Faisalabad due to their serious condition. Bohwana police rushed to the site and started rescue operation.
