Three newly-established RTOs in Karachi: FBR issues procedure for adjustment of officials

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a procedure for working of officers (BS-1 to 16) at the three newly established Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) at Karachi. According to an office order of the FBR, the procedure would deal with the adjustment of staff (BS-1 to 16) at these RTOs at Karachi.
On establishment of three Regional Tax Offices at Karachi, it has been decided that adjustment of staff, office equipment and assets etc shall be made under a new procedure.
The officers/officials in BS-1 to 16 will continue to work at their positions where they were posted prior to creation of three RTOs. However, where-so-ever any adjustments are required, three Chief Commissioners concerned may transfer officers/officials with mutual consultation/consent. Staff, office equipment, vehicles and other resources placed in the pool or Chief Commissioner's Secretariat of defunct RTO, Karachi may equally be distributed with mutual consultation by the three Chief Commissioners, it added.
