Prime Minister grants Rs 100,000 for treatment of two patients
Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday granted rupees 50,000 each for the treatment of two patients suffering from bone marrow and kidney diseases respectively. The PM sanctioned the amount to Zaryan Jan, the widow of Taj Muhammad resident of Rawalpindi, for the treatment of her 15-year old daughter suffering from bone marrow disease.
Zaryan Jan had submitted an application to the PM requesting that being poor, she could not bear the expenses of the treatment of her daughter. Gilani also granted Rs 50,000 to Muhammad Aslam resident of Haroon Chowk, Dhoke Ali Akbar, Rawalpindi for the treatment of her daughter suffering from kidney disease. On the Prime Minister's directives, Chief Co-ordinator of PM' Secretariat Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani handed over the cheques to the applicants at their residences.
