Berlin Fruit Logistica 2011: reputed companies participating under PHDEC umbrella

Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Company (PHDEC) is taking a group of reputed processing and exporting companies to Berlin (Germany) to participate in Fruit Logistica 2011, being held from February 9 to 11. There would be an extensive display of Pakistani kinnows, dates, vegetables and other processed products besides sampling and tasting of Pakistani easy peeler.
Kinnow usage as a juicing product would also be highlighted by providing kinnow juice to the visitors, said Kashif Niazi, heading marketing wing of the company while talking to Business Recorder here on Friday. Niazi said that there would be three leading Pakistani kinnow exporters and processors in the delegation, which would participate in this exhibition. 'We have a small delegation but would provide more space to them to exhibit their products and fetch maximum orders for Pakistan,' he added.
This would be an ideal opportunity for introducing Pakistani horticulture products to the visitors while at the same time participating delegation will develop requisite business linkages with the buyers from not only Europe but also in major trading part of the world.
PHDEC started participating in Fruit Logistica from 2004, which gave confidence to our industry to show case its products at the world level. Many exporters and growers participated in the exhibition from PHDEC platform and developed many business ties with their counterparts in Germany and world around, Niazi claimed.
