An announcement to this effect was made in a statement issued here on Monday. It said Meezan Bank now stood amongst the 10 largest banks in Pakistan in terms of branch network.
Meezan Bank President and CEO Irfan Siddiqui in his statement said that Meezan Bank started operations eight years ago with the vision to 'Establish Islamic Banking as Banking of First Choice' and to provide quality banking services in a Shariah-compliant manner to every citizen of Pakistan at their doorstep.
He said at that time it was the smallest bank in the country. However, Meezan Bank was today ranked amongst the 10 largest banks in Pakistan, he added. It was further pointed out that Meezan Bank offered a complete range of Islamic banking products and services, including free online banking for all Pak Rupee accounts at all its branches.-PR
