Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab on Sunday claimed that the government had made efforts to stop the people from taking part in PTI demonstration in Rawalpindi and said the government was afraid of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf due to which they are now using cheap tactics to stop the masses from taking part in PTI demonstrations.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, Ahsen Rasheed, President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab, said that government instead of ensuring the provision of gas and electricity to the poor masses is spending all its energies to stop the demonstrations. He said it is an abhorrent fact that so-called representatives are exploiting the masses and are suppressing them, so that they should not raise their voice.
He said that these tactics are, in fact, revealing the insecurity of these exploiters who are shivering to their bones by watching the growing movement against the corruption. He contended that suppressed masses are now getting out of control to oust these corrupt politicians who have exploited the nation under chaotic circumstance such as floods and other calamities. He warned that these leaders can't stop the movement, but are triggering the flames leaving no option for the poor masses who will hold strict accountability the corrupt politicians.
Dr Shahid Siddique, Secretary Information of PTI Punjab, said people are fed up with these corrupt politicians and uniting under PTI banner, as Imran Khan is the only leader who could deliver and solve the national socio-economic problems.
