Mohammad Hussain Syed on Saturday took the charge of District Co-ordination Officer (DCO), City District Government Karachi (CDGK). Due to the illness of Administrator Karachi, Fazlur Rehman, Sindh Government had appointed Mohammad Hussain Syed as DCO Karachi. Fazlur Rehman was simultaneously holding the offices of DCO and Administrator Karachi.
However, Sindh Government appointed Mohammad Hussain Syed as DCO, as Fazlur Rehman was unable to discharge his duties efficiently as Administrator and DCO due to his illness. The DCO would work under the Administrator, they added.
