PIA, Turkish Airlines ink MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Turkish Airlines to bolster commercial co-operation and explore avenues to bring the people of the two countries closer. The agreement was signed between Managing Director PIA, Captain Muhammad Aijaz Haroon and President & CEO Turkish Airlines, Dr Temel Kotil.
The meeting explored possibilities of utilising each other's resources for mutual benefit especially in the fields of maintenance, training, ground handling and marketing. Fethi Ethem, Counsel General of Turkey, Saleem Mandviwalla, Federal Minister of State and Chairman Board of Investment graced the occasion.
The Turkish delegation, among other officials, comprised of Orhan Sivrikaya, EVP Commercial, Ms Ozlem Salihoglu, SVP Business Development & Agreements and Hasan Hulki Balakbabalar, SVP Network Planning. PIA officials on the occasion included Imraan Ahmed Khan, Director Marketing and Irshad Ghani, General Manager Industry Affairs, Tahir Niaz, General Manager Passenger Market Planning and & E-Commerce among other officials of the airline.-PR
