The State Bank of Pakistan will start issuing bank notes, bearing signature of SBP Governor Shahid Kardar from January 3, 2011, from the field offices of SBP Banking Services Corporation. The bank notes bearing the signatures of his predecessors shall continue to remain in circulation as legal tender.
