Islamabad Police has claimed to have raided a brothel den running under the guise of homoeopathic clinic and held eight persons, including four women, while 12 other persons were nabbed for their alleged involvement in drug pushing and possessing illegal arms.
Police recovered five pistols, 250-gram heroin, 1.2kg opium and 3.5kg charas from the detained persons. Koral Police arrested a quack lady doctor allegedly involved in sex trade and arrested seven persons, including three women during the raid, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police here on Wednesday.
He said that woman was running a homeopathic clinic in Ghauri Town, Khana Dak and people of the area complained to the police about her involvement in immoral activities on which the police team led by Station House Officer Koral along with women police raided the clinic and arrested eight persons, including Shehnaz. Tarnol Police nabbed five outlaws during its drive and recovered two pistols and two magazine, 250 gram heroin, 12kg charas and 1.2kg opium from them, the police sources said.
They said that Tarnol Police recovered 1.2-kg from accused Talha, 1.2kg opium from accused Nazir Khan, 250 gram heroin from Naseer Khan, one pistol 30-bore, two magazines and five bullets from Muhammad Ramzan and one pistol 30-bore from Abdul Qayyum. Bara Kahu Police during the drive arrested two outlaws and recovered one pistol 30-bore and 23 bullets from Tabarak Hussain and one pistol 30-bore, five bullets and 150 gram charas from Gul Saleem, police sources said.
Sabzi Mandi Police arrested a lady smuggler Shahreena and recovered 600-gram charas from her possession. Shahzad Town Police arrested three persons and recovered one pistol 30-bore from the accused Muhammad Asif, 1.3 kg charas from Zia and one bottle wine from Zubair Ali. Koral police arrested Allah Bux and recovered 160 gram charas from his possession.
