The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has offered 16 residential plots for open auction out of which plot No 227-E measuring 500 square yards located in F-11/1 received the highest bid of Rs 45,000 per square yard. The Plot No 64 and 65 measuring 311 square yards each located in G-10/2 received the lowest bid of Rs 35,000 per square yard, during the first day of the two-day open auction of the CDA started here at Aabpara Community Centre on Tuesday.
The two-day auction announced by the CDA is meant for residential as well as commercial plots and would continue till 4pm on Wednesday (today). On the first day, 16 residential plots located in F-11/1 and G-10/2 sectors of the Federal Capital were offered for open auction and a huge number of people have shown their interest in the auction. Plot No 227-E measuring 500 square yards of F-11/1 remained on top with highest bid of Rs 45,000 per square yard, while Plot No 64 and 65 of 311 square yards each of G-10/2 received the lowest bid of Rs 35,000 per square yard.
The auction is being supervised by a committee headed by Saeed-ur-Rehman Member Finance, while S M Farooqi Member Estate, Abdul Jabbar Malano, Member Engineering, Planning and Design, Director Public Relations, Director Estate Management-I, Director Estate Management-II, Director One Window Operation, and Deputy Financial Advisor are the members of the committee.
A large number of people participated in the auction on the first day. The Wednesday (today) will be the day for auction of commercial plots, which will be continue from 10am to 4pm. The committee would submit its recommendations to the CDA Board, which is the final approving Authority.
