Local body system Sindh govt implementing 'Functional Formula'

Sindh Government is implementing "Functional Formula" given by Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) for local body system. However the government should also carry rehabilitation and assistance of flood affected people on preferential basis and should also follow functional formula for it.
This was stated by Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi, President, PML-F Sindh, in the meeting of PML-F Provincial Executive Council at the residence of Leader PML-F and Advisor to Chief Minister on Tourism, Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh here on Thursday. He said that the Government of Sindh is now following the functional formula given by PML-F for the restoration of local body system in Sindh and we would support it. We would also support every positive and legal step of government towards betterment as we are the coalition partners, he added.
He also appealed the government to carry the functional formula prepared by PML-F for the assistance and rehabilitation of flood affected and said that government should pace up the flood affected assistance process on preferential basis. Government should focus on the people affected by flood and should resolve their problems as a priority, he added.
The current political and social situation of the country, inflation, unemployment and poverty and other key issues were also discussed in a meeting. Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh, Jam Madad Ali Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah and others leaders of PML-F were also present in a meeting.
