Shah Zain produced before court

Shah Zain Bugti, President JWP Balochistan and grandson of Nawab Akbar Bugti was produced at the anti-terrorism Court here on Thursday amid tight security. Judge Muhammad Ismail handed over custody of Shah Zain and his 26 colleagues to police on seven day physical remand.
According to the details Shah Zain and his 26 guards were arrested by Frontier Corps at Baleli Check on Wednesday as they recovered heavy arms and ammunition from vehicle of his convoy. Shah Zain was produced in the ATC amid tight security. He was brought to the court premises in an armoured vehicle. The cases have been registered against him at Airport Police Station for possessing illicit weapons, confrontation with Police and planning terrorism. Speaking to newsmen Shah Zain said he had no connection with the weapons shown on media. It was a conspiracy to stop him from Dera Bugti long march. Secret agencies were involved in it.
He said no one carried such huge weapons with it. He said his grandfather Nawab Akbar Bugti was killed in a conspiracy while he was also kept behind the bars during Musharraf regime in false cases. But he made it clear they were not afraid of jails. He said he suffered 8 months imprisonment during Musharraf period and he was released after dictatorial period was over.
He said he would face charges and cases in the court. They had full trust in the courts. Answering a question he said charges of bringing illegal arms and ammunition against him were baseless. Had he brought such huge weapons, no one could stop him at Baleli Check post. He said if he could not go to Dera Bugti, his brother would definitely go there.
