Passage of 19th Amendment Bill: President felicitates National Assembly

President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday felicitated the National Assembly on the unanimous passage of the Constitution's 19th Amendment Bill. President Zardari in a message appreciated the maturity of political parties and said it reflected the supremacy of the parliament. He said the democracy had strengthened with the passing of 19th Amendment Bill.
He termed the passing of Bill as yet another "historic achievement" and congratulated Mian Raza Rabbani, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Constitutional Reforms and other members. The President appreciated the contributions of the Parliamentary Committee members for working tirelessly with patience, commitment and zeal.
