Grandson of Bugti held, arms recovered

Law enforcing agency on Wednesday arrested President Jamhori Watan Party Nawabzada Mir Shahzain Bugti along with dozens other associates and recovered a huge quantity of arms from their possession. Talking to media-person, DIG Operations Hamid Shakil said the convoy of Shahzain Bugti was stopped at Balili checkpoint and the security forces recovered dozens of Kalashnikoves and thousands of SMG rounds from his convoy during search.
He added that no exact details of the arrested persons and arms were available with the police as they were in the custody of the security force. The DIG said the police would scrutinise the licenses and permits and would be in a position to registered case if the seized arms were found illegal. When contacted a spokesperson for the security force refused to comment on the story. Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti is the grand son of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and the President of Jamhori Watan Party (JWP).
