The clash took place when peace lashkar persons came face to face with militants in Landi Kotal. As result, three militants were killed. Three members of the lashkar were also injured in the encounter.
The injured were shifted to Landi Kotal hospital for treatment. The encounter continued for half an hour as both sides used heavy weaponry against others.
