Access to internet no more luxury but a human right, says Mobilink CCO

Addressing a press conference at Mobilink regional office, here, he said that Mobilink had entered into a Digital Pakistan phase by signing an agreement with VEON to allow free text, video and graphics sharing to its subscribers. It was possible even when a subscriber had depleted its balance, he said and added, "It's our desire that the whole Pakistan should be interacting online."

He said that the world was changing rapidly and with the requirements of the customers and the VEON application was designed to meet expectations of people.

VEON representative in Pakistan Mian Talha said that the application also allowed users to form groups and special safeguards incorporated for protection of their data.

Regional technical head Muhammad Faisal and Tariq Durrani were also present.
