Bollywood movie ‘Padmavati’ led internet in to a complete frenzy after releasing its first trailer that left everyone praising the extravagant film and anxiously waiting for its release.
The trailer of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali period movie ‘Padmavati’ that stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead was released on the 9th October at 1:01pm India time. However another mega budget, Hollywood movie ‘Justice League’ also released its trailer a day before the Indian movie but scored less views on YouTube in the span of 24 hours than the Deepika and Ranveer starrer.
In a way ‘Padmavati’ beat Warner Bros. and DC comics’ movie ‘Justice League’ that stars Ben Affleck as ‘Batman’, Henry Cavill as ‘Superman’ and the ‘Wonder Woman’, Gal Gadot. ‘Padmavati’ has also scored the position of the first Indian movie trailer to have garnered the most views on YouTube in 24 hours.
‘Padmavati’ stuns everyone with its official trailer
The movie got almost 21 million views in 24 hours whereas ‘Justice League’ received almost 16 million views, beating the Hollywood movie with almost 5 million views.
Stars of the movie Deepika, Ranveer and Shahid thanked everyone after receiving the overwhelming response from the Bollywood fraternity, their fans and the people who watched the trailer. The movie is all set to release on 1st December.
