Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Meanwhile one more ship scheduled to load/offload Containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24: hours.

Berth occupancy was 70% at the Port on Thursday where total number of eight ships namely MV. Safmarine Ngami, Saigon Express, Msc Roberta, Nysted Maersk, Fisher-K, Zeynep-K, Patagonia Gas and Sunrise Wisteria are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, Cement, Canola Seeds, Chemicals and Edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 84,941 tonnes, comprising 43,551 tonnes imports and 41,390 tonnes exports, inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 4,262 Containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

Four vessels Saigon Express, Nysted Maersk MSC Roberta and Sunrise Wisteria sailed out to sea on Friday morning.

Two ships Safmarine Ngami and Patagonia Gas expected to sail later on same.

Two ships and Chembulk Savannah carrying containers and palm oil are expected to take berths at Qasim International Containers Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal respectively on Friday, 02 Dec.
