European equities advance at open

LONDON: Europe's stock markets rose at the open on Friday, with London's FTSE 100 index up almost 0.3 percent at 7,340.82 points.

In the eurozone, the CAC 40 in Paris added almost 0.1 percent to 5,297.42 points, and Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.2 percent to 12,725.87 points compared with the closing level on Thursday.
