The month of August brings out the most patriotism in all Pakistanis, remembering all the struggles and hardships people went through before earning independence. The celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day is incomplete without the national songs that pay tribute not just to maker of the country’s independence but also to those patriots and armed man who sacrificed their lives protecting this sacred land.

1: Dil Dil Pakistan by Vital Sign

Written and Composed by Shoaib Mansoor

Sung by Late Junaid Jamshed the song was released in 1987 from the band’s debut album ‘Vital Signs 1’.

 

2: Mera Paigham Pakistan by Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

Poet: Jamiludin Aali, Composer: Niaz Ahmed

This decade year old song released in 1997 is as famous as it used to be when it first came out.

3: Dil Se Mene Dekha Pakistan by Haroon

The song came out in 2003.
