Now yet another controversy involving the same has hit the headlines, Novak Djokovic’s ex-girlfriend Natasa Bekvalac has apparently claimed in an interview that he should rather date the ‘Padmavati’ actress.

According to several media reports, Natasa has confessed that “he would rather be happy dating Deepika Padukone." This line for sure hints at an alleged affair that must have brewed between Deepika and Djokovic.

The report of Deepika Padukone and Novak Djokovic’s affair first sparked fire when Deepika was spotted on a dinner date with the former world No 1 tennis player in 2016. At that time, a British tabloid failing to recognize Deepika addressed her as the Serbian player's 'female companion' and 'a leggy brunette'.

In the past few years, news of Djokovic dating several women have been reported. He is said to have been involved with a blonde lawyer from Ukraine, Victoria, Novak was also rumoured to have an ‘emotional bond’ with a DJ named Lady Lee (Lidija Popovic)—whom he dated before meeting his wife.

Deepika is currently busy shooting for ‘Padmavati’ with Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
