17 Nov, 2011

South Africa named an unchanged team following their eight-wicket win in the first Test in Cape Town.

Australia made two changes, with 18-year-old fast bowler Pat Cummins replacing Ryan Harris, who was reported on Wednesday to have been "stiff and sore" following the first Test, and batsman Usman Khawaja in for the injured Shaun Marsh.

At 18 years and 193 days old, Cummins became the second youngest Australian Test player after Ian Craig, who was 17 years and 239 days when he made his debut, also against South Africa, at Melbourne in 1952-53.

The weather was sunny and hot and the pitch looked good for batting.
