SBP accepts Rs118.366bn bids for MTBs sale
KARACHI: Heavy participation was witnessed in the Treasury bills (T-bills) auction on Wednesday, which fetched over Rs 200 billion worth of bids.
Against tenders of 3 months, 6 months and 12 months Market Treasury Bills (MTBs), overall Rs 200.786 billion bids, with a realised amount of Rs 184.88 billion were received through Primary Dealers.
However, the SBP accepted bids worth Rs 118.366 billion, with a realised amount of Rs 109.351 billion.
SBP set a cut-off yield 11.7825 percent for the sale of 3-month MTBs and accepted bids worth Rs 19.654 billion. For the 6-month, the State Bank accepted Rs 38.782 billion worth bids with 11.8070 percent cut-of yield. Similarly, a cut-of yield of 11.8769 percent was set for the 12-month period MTBs with Rs 59.93 billion bids.
