Italy's NTV to issue 500mn euro senior secured bond

MILAN: Italian rail operator Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (NTV) said on Monday it would offer a 500 million euro ($561 million) senior secured bond maturing in 2023, which will be guaranteed by the company's shares.

The company also said it expected to sign a new financing contract for 210 million euros.

Separately, credit rating Moody's said it was assigning a 'B1' rating to a 440 million euro senior secured bond to be issued by NTV.
