ANP foils militants' plan to destabilise Pakistan: Hoti

This strengthened people's trust in the ANP and political acumen of its leadership. He expressed these views while addressing Bacha Khan and Abdul Wali Khan's death anniversary at Pakistan Social Centre UAE.  The ANP UAE had arranged the gathering.

ANP President Asfandeyar Wali Khan, Senator Abdul Nabi Bangash, Provincial Minister Live Stock Haji Hidayat Ullah, President ANP UAE Nizar Yousuf, General Secretary ANP Sharjah Zarin Zada and other notables and large number of  Pakistani nationals were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister paid rich tribute to Khudai Khidmatgar Movement led by Bacha Khan and Rahbar-i-Tehreek Khan Abdul Wali Khan whose efforts and sacrifices for educating the Pakhtun Youth  materialized.

He said followers of Bacha Khan and Abdul Wali Khan have realised their dreams and mission and have proved that ANP is the only Pakhtun's representative party. He termed successful struggle against terrorism in short span of three years, rehabilitation of flood affectees, reconstruction, change in name of the province, issuance of unanimously approved NFC Award after 19 years, approval of 18th amendment and increase in resource base of the province as remarkable achievements of his government.

He said enemies of the Pakhtuns' land and nation, religion, humanity and future of the nation wanted to push the Pakhtun into darkness of ignorance but the government, people and security agencies are committed to halting their evil designs.

He lauded people and political support to military operation against terrorists  .

He announced that ANP has achieved 80% of its targets as per its political manifesto and we are heading in the right direction for achievement of the remaining 20% targets of establishing everlasting peace.

He spoke on issuance of Bacha Khan Khpal Rozgar Scheme which intended to eliminate poverty and unemployment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said loans under the program will only be provided on need and merit basis.

The Chief Minister said future of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is linked to valuable resources of oil and gas and hydel power available in the province planning for more and more investment in these sectors with public private collaboration has been chalked out, he added.
