Talking to PTV on Friday, he said that Pak-India burgeoning trade ties will bring economic revolution not only for both countries but also for the region. Saeed Shafiq said that South Asian region has great potential and natural resources for swift economic development, but owing to bilateral disputes, we could not exploit our potentials properly and could not achieve prosperity like western countries. He said the people of South Asian countries especially of Pakistan and India are facing socio- economic problems such as unemployment, lack of basic health facilities and education, which can be addressed with bilateral cooperation at regional level and co-existence.
