Darson Industries, Butsch GmBH Germany sign collaboration agreement

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Butsch GmBH Thomas Butsch, a leading company in Europe which had 12 million euros turnover in 2015-16 and Darson Industries CEO Abdul Hamid, signed the document at Pakistan Pavilion in Hannover Messe 2017 organized by Engineering Development Board (EDB) in collaboration with commercial office, Embassy of Pakistan, Berlin, according to an EDB press release.

Under the agreement, Darson will be the manufacturing hub while Messrs Butsch will act as holding, distribution and customer services representative in Germany.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) Chairman Mashood Ali Khan, who is participating in Hannover Messe 2017, highlighted that promotion of engineering sector needed efforts on long term basis.

The Darson-Butsch collaboration was an example of the continued participation, which would increase the confidence of German and other European buyers on Pakistani autopart manufacturers as well, he added.

The PAAPAM chairman appreciated the continuous efforts of EDB, which had resulted in converting opportunities into real business.

The EDB CEO congratulated the management of Darson and Butsch for entering into a new business relationship ensuring of his full support for all such future developments and reiterated that Pakistan could only increase its exports significantly through enhancement of valued added engineering exports and providing a such platform for establishing technical linkages.

Darson and Butsch lauded the efforts of the EDB for promotion of engineering sector.

The participants of the exhibition appreciated the EDB for its efforts and urged that Pakistan's Engineering sector should be supported on long term basis for market development initiatives such as support for participation in engineering trade fairs.
