10-day training programme for sugar mills officers

The experts informed the participants who belonged to 36 districts of the Punjab, about protective measures to save theirs crops from herbal, pest and insect attacks.

Dr. Noor-ul-Islam, Director General Ayub Agriculture Research Insitute (AARI) Faisalabad, delivered a keynote lecture at the concluding ceremony of the training course and informed the trainees about steps to eliminate dengue. He said that mosquitoes and other insects take rapid growth in herbals.

Farmers should take effective steps to weed out herbals before the breeding of insects and mosquitoes, he added. Later, he also distributed certificates among the trainees.
