Turkey vows to continue supporting Pakistan: Turkish Foreign minister

The Turkish minister told BBC, that Turkey facilitated in talks between the Presidents and Military Chiefs of Afghanistan and Pakistan in Istanbul to ease mistrust between the two neighbors.

Ahmet Davutogli said in the meetings they shared everything they had in mind and their heart and this is important that Afghanistan and Pakistan are together for centuries, the people, the tribes, the communities, they live together for centuries and they will continue to live for centuries.

Replying to a question, foreign minister said there are still lot of things which have to be achieved.

He said that these two nations should sit and discuss their issues during such meetings.

To another question he said Pakistan itself had to undertake many operations in Swat and other regions, so they are committed to fight against terror activities and are ready to cooperate with Afghanistan.
