Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and a large number of people from across the country, including federal and provincial ministers, politicians, party workers and people from different walks of life also attended the Rasm-e-Qul of Madar-e- Jamhuriat. Prayers were offered for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
President Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto received the people who joined the bereaved family in their hour of grief and sorrow.
Those who attended the Soyem included among others Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Ministers Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan and Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah, and Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah. The PPP parliamentarians including Faryal Talpur, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Ayaz Soomro, Agha Siraj Durrani and Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto also attended the Soyem.
Begum Nusrat Bhutto, who died in Dubai, was laid to rest in her family mausoleum at Garhi Khuda Bux in Larkana on Monday.
Quran Khwani sittings were held in various cities of the country for her resting soul.
Her funeral prayers in absentia were also offered on various places.
Quran Khwani was also held at different places and at Naudero House on Wednesday, which was attended by a large number of people.
