HAMBURG: Japan's agriculture ministry purchased about 20,300 tonnes of feed wheat in a tender which closed on Tuesday, European traders said on Wednesday.

It was from optional-origins for arrival in December, they said. This was the second round of direct tenders after Japan halted its previous simultaneous buy and sell (SBS) system used for imports of feed wheat and some food wheat in October to improve transparency.
