Five-year JGB yield rises to 9-month high after poor auction

TOKYO: The yield on the five-year Japanese government bond rose to a nine-month high on Tuesday, after results of a 5-year auction fell short of market expectations.

The 5-year JGB yield added 4.5 basis points to minus 0.110 percent, its highest level since Feb. 4.
