Margalla Express launching on May 22

Pakistan Railways, on the directive of Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, has announced to launch Margalla Express, a non-stop train from Rawalpindi to Lahore.
Inaugural launching ceremony of the train will take place at Rawalpindi station on May 22. According to schedule, the train would depart from Rawalpindi station at 7 am to reach Lahore station at 11 am, from where it would depart at 6 pm to reach Rawalpindi station at 10 pm, the railway sources said here on Wednesday.
The train comprises air-conditioned parlour, air-conditioned lower and economy class coaches. The Rail Car, which already departs Rawalpindi station at 7 am for Lahore will now leave at 9 am from May 22 on regular basis.
