PRAGUE: The Czech crown fell more than 0.2 percent against the euro on Friday, hitting its weakest level since early July as it came under pressure along with other central European currencies.

The crown currency traded at 27.09 to the euro at 0839 GMT, just off a daily low of 27.112.

The weakening took the crown out of its tight range near the central bank's crown commitment level of 27 to the euro that it maintains as part of an intervention regime to keep the currency weak.

The bank allows the crown to float freely on the weak side of the commitment level.
