Saudi Arabia borrows $17.5bn in first international bond offering: HSBC

PARIS: Saudi Arabia borrowed $17.5 billion in its first international bond issue, HSBC announced Thursday, after the bank took part in the transaction.

Saudi has divided the total into three tranches with maturities of five, 10 and 30 years, respectively, tailor-made for the US market, HSBC said.
