Assistant Commissioner Taftan, Khaliq Dad told APP on Wednesday that the district administration had written a letter to Iranian officials two weeks back requesting them to reopen Zero Point trade gate keeping in view the grievance of people living in both sides of the border. "Deputy Commissioner Chagai has received reply from Iranian officials with assurance that Zero Point trade gate would be reopened as soon as the underway development works near the trade gate is completed",Dad said. It is recalled here that Iranian officials had closed Zero Point gate on 22nd September for indefinite period.
