France sells 4bn euros of new 30-year inflation-linked bond

PARIS: France sold by syndicate on Wednesday 4 billion euros ($4.48 billion) of its new 30-year bond indexed to European inflation, the Agence France Tresor public debt management agency said.

AFT said the price was set at 111.628 percent, giving a real yield of -0.262 percent at issuance, compared to -0.426 percent on its existing 25-year inflation-indexed benchmark.

Total demand reached 8.4 billion euros, AFT said.
