High level enquiry orders against fraudster: CM
The sources told APP here on Sunday that the victims had brought to the notice of Chief Minister that Muhammad Tahir Faizi in his official capacity met innocent people and lured them to purchase residential plots at throw away prices.
He managed to sell all the plots through bogus affidavits which proved ghost after confirmation from revenue department, the victims said and added, several people fell prey to his tactics.
Muhammad Tahir Faizi is involved in more than seven different criminal cases and facing court proceedings in city courts, the victims alleged.
Some of the victims include Rashid Ahmad, Muhammad Saeed, Muhammad Hanif, Syed Noor Ul Hassan, Dr Abdus Salam and Dr. Waqar Chaudhary. Tahir Faizi is also facing enquiry in Anti Corruption Establishment, Lahore for extorting Rs 300,000 from Abdul Sattar Qadri on the pretext of providing a job, they alleged.
They claimed that Tahir Faizi's modus operandi was that if someone demanded refund of his money, he got involved the aggrieved person in false cases in connivance with the local police.
Muhammad Tahir Faizi after cheating innocent people purchased a 9 kanal plot in a prime location near Wafaqi Colony in his name and several other plots in the name of his wife and younger brother, the victims pointed out.
