Free dengue safety kits to be distributed from today

LAHORE: Member National Assembly and Chairman Samanabad Town Emergency Response Committee Mian Marghoob Ahmad has said that in order to make Samanabad Town dengue free zone, the process of door-to-door distribution of free dengue safety kits to the poor and low income people will be started from Sunday (today).

Around 1000 dengue safety kits will be distributed in four union councils of Samanabad Town, he said while presiding over a meeting in Samanabad Town, here on Saturday.

Mian Marghoob said that chairmen of local committees were being nominated as Convener for the distribution of these safety kits. He said that kits would be distributed among such deserving people who can not afford to purchase these kits. He said that committees headed by chairmen local Zakat committees and teachers, students of universities, Imam of the local mosques and two lady workers as its members would recommend the person who deserves for free dengue safety kits.
